DUEL [ LIST <player > | ADD [player] | DROP [player] | TRUCE [player] ] |
There are a number of factors to resolve which decide if a player can
fight another player. Clan combat, contracts, outlawhood all come first
and are specific cases where players might fight players.
Duelling is where, in the absence of any overriding factor, you get to
choose whom to fight. Another player will have no chance of combat with
you unless they are in your duel list. When you add someone to your list
then your potential foe will be told you have offered a challenge. If
they add you to their duel list you will then be told that they accept
the challenge and combat can now commence. Once you strike a duel foe
a timer is set in motion and you cannot drop them until it expires
UNLESS one of you calls for a truce and then the other accepts it, in
this situation you both get dropped from each others lists immediately.
You can offer an open invitation with 'duel add *' No truce is possible
with this mode and if someone refuses to stop fighting then the best
thing is to add them specifically to your duel list. When fighting if
an individual is in your list then their timer will be refreshed in
preference to the global one allowing it to drain. Once drained you
can then remove it.
